I am very concerned that non full time residents do not get their driveways shoveled. I pay my dues like everyone else. Why do I not get this service? Will I get a refund on my dues?
My concern is that it sends a message that no one lives there and it makes the house vulerable.
Snow removal
Re: Snow removal
It would probably be best to email Patti with your concerns (plshaw1017@hotmaail.com).
Snow removal is very expensive. $100.00 per plow hour with a $300 dollar minimum. $30 dollars a driveway and $30.00 a man per hour hand shoveling. Salt costs even more. Times all this by 164 units and it ads up really fast.
$5,000.00 has been budgeted for snow removal in 2014. As you can see it is a very thin line on making ends meet. The last thing anyone wants is a special snow assessment.
If you would like to experience how difficult it is to keep the Community afloat as well as running smoothly there is an open Secretary position open. Believe me, it is an eye opening experience.
